Trevor is an absolute gentleman, due to Covid, we had our planning meetings over zoom, Trevor made everything very relaxed and easy, as soon as we'd chatted about how we wanted our day to go, what our ideas were for the ceremony, he got us completely, he created the first draft of our ceremony script and we didn't change a thing! It was perfect, in just a few short meetings, he understood the importance of fun, laughter and humour for us, and he included just the right balance of this in our ceremony, along with some fantastic surprises!

 

When I saw him in person for the first time at the top of the aisle, his warm smile calmed my nerves and I felt like I'd known him forever, his professionalism was superb, the whole ceremony was conducted perfectly, all of our guests commented on how wonderful they thought it was, especially those who had never experienced a humanist ceremony before!

 

I would not hesitate to recommend Trevor to anyone thinking of a humanist wedding, it was so personal and special to us and a day we will never forget!

Because we got married during a period of COVID Lockdown, the ceremony felt very different, but Trevor was fantastic and created a very personalised experience for us. He was also a great help with suggestions for Zoom!

Our celebrant Trevor made sure to make our ceremony so personal to us even when we were only having a simple service. An aspect that was commented by all the guests.

Having never met Trevor until we arrived in Belfast two days before our wedding we felt so comfortable and assured that he was the right celebrant for us. He made us feel at ease over all the zoom calls and we felt he really got to know us, which showed on the day and in his script. Trevor spends time getting to know you as a couple as well as your family and your life.

 

The ceremony was light hearted, funny and filled with a lot of love which is what we wanted. We couldn't thank Trevor enough for making us husband and wife. It was the perfect day to begin our new chapter, and I am certain if Bruce (our dog) was allowed to attend he would have been a fan of Trevor as he sat in all of our zoom calls! 

 

If you are looking for a celebrant who wants to understand your relationship and deliver a services which if funny yet so filled with love (and also have the best bow tie collection) then I couldn't recommend Trevor enough.

What can I say about Trevor? He is brilliant! 

 

From the moment of our first meeting on Zoom he was courteous, kind and was genuinely interested in what we had to say. For the next couple of weeks he was terrific at tailoring our script. He had an instant understanding of the story we were trying to tell and he did so with a mixture of humour, sentiment and insight. He captured our journey together better than we could possibly have hoped.

 

Not only this but he also went above and beyond what we expected when he resolved issues out of our control, and basically saved the day! 

 

He also showed he was the epitome of a truly good person when he found out the special circumstances behind why we wanted to get our wedding planned so quickly. He was humble and beyond generous.

 

We received nothing but compliments from the guests that attended the ceremony. Saying it was heartfelt, emotional and told our story eloquently and beautifully. People were still talking about it days later.

 

I cannot recommend Trevor highly enough, an absolute credit to the humanist organisation and as a caring, considerate person.
